Pictured is "Friends of the Luau" board members with Lisa Hurley and Jane McGuire. Lisa is representing Partners in Care and is accepting a donation from our 2021 event. Jane is also accepting a donation and is representing  Hospice of Redmond.

We were able to give again in 2022.  Same recipients, same Friends of the Luau board.  Bruce is missing.  Sharon Blacketter and puppy Tim sit in for him.

The checks just keep getting bigger!  Literally!

Our initial investment into the Bend/Redmond community is in the form of funds to two partners.  In 2019, 2021, and 2022 we donated proceeds to "Partners in Care" and "Hospice of Redmond."

As community based, independent non profit companies, these two are a good fit for us.  Their mission to help people who are struggling with basic needs while coping with serious ailments is attuned to our mission.

Helping with home heating expenses, travel costs, groceries, and other basic necessities are the things that we are proud to be a part of.

These companies have also, on occasion, brokered temporary lodging for families that would have otherwise been homeless as they faced the imminent loss of loved ones.

We are proud to be working with Partners in Care and Hospice of Redmond.  As we reach further into the community to find other partners and individuals in need of our assistance, we trust that our current relationship with these two great organizations will remain strong.
