The party began as Laurel's Luau in a Boise, Idaho backyard in 2001.  Now the party continues on in both Boise and Bend, Oregon. The Friends of the Luau is a proud partner of the original Luau's parent organization, Laurel's Legacy. As the Legacy continues their tremendous growth in Boise, we at  "Friends" embark on a mission similar to theirs.  As a 501c3 organization,  our mission is to help those that are facing life threatening illnesses in the Bend/Redmond area.
